Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Barkriffic is a proudly female-owned small business dedicated to creating high-quality, handcrafted pet products for the adventures you share with your best friend. Everything I make is rooted in love for dogs, respect for our community, and a deep commitment to health and wellness.

A letter from the founder:

Throughout my life, my truest friendships have always included a wagging tail and four paws.

That unconditional love led me to take a closer look at what I was feeding my dogs. What I found in many commercial foods — fillers, by-products, and preservatives — didn’t align with the long, healthy lives I wanted for them.

So I started cooking for my pups. What began as homemade meals to supplement their kibble evolved into a deeper journey into raw feeding, whole foods, and canine nutrition. The transformation in their health, energy, and happiness changed our lives.

More than fifteen years ago, Barkriffic was born from that experience — right in my messy, flour-dusted kitchen.

Today, Barkriffic is a community of local farmers, dog-obsessed families, natural wellness believers, and mountain folk who all share one thing in common: we love our dogs deeply and believe they deserve the very best.
